more about us

We departed in a '97 Mitsubishi Delica van that we spent 2 years building into an overland home. In 2017, we tied the knot (literally) on the summit of the Grand Teton in Wyoming at 13,770 ft. Our phrase, “be old later”, reminds us that life is too short and we need to live it to the fullest while our knees still work and our gray hairs are easily countable.

We took this time, this journey, this chapter in our lives to explore, learn, and give back.

During our trip, we focused on showcasing nature, art, and a vehicle based lifestyle.

This was our proposed journey:

Our hope was to find adventure and community on our journey north, then south. We were able to meet many people from various communities, volunteer teaching children how to draw and by painting murals, and hike and climb to our hearts content.
